Founded in 2001, InfoPortugal has created the biggest and more complete digital geographic data base of Portugal, including cartography and points of interest of all territory, being now starting the expansion to digital and aerial photograph.
In the beginning of 2006, InfoPortugal has introduced in the Portuguese market the personal navigation software NDrive, entirely developed in the company, and that quickly has spread to the international market. Nowadays is directly present in the main chains of retail in Spain, Italy and Singapore, and indirectly in OEM models like motor of other navigation systems.
InfoPortugal has been pointed out as an example of a Portuguese technology company and has seen a swift volume of businesses, with profit, being strongly interested in an international expansion.

InfoPortugal expands an NDrive base of contents, including the covering of Portugal autonomous regions, Açores and Madeira, and according to LaNetro, in Spain, that includes 150.000 points of interest. The new version also comprehends dynamic information, allowing the user to accede gratuitously to the geo-validated information from pharmacies, cultural events, weather forecast, in any place in Portugal.
